Grey's Anatomy is as ever giving us a lot to think about with drama and more drama in the hospital. If you can't wait for tonight's episode 5 of season 10 to find out what's going to happen, here are the juicy details. The official synopsis to tonight's episode states, "Meredith jumps back into work but finds it hard to excel at both motherhood and being a surgeon. Stephanie tries to make a good impression on Jackson's mom, and Jo finds herself overly involved with her new patient. Meanwhile, Callie and Owen deal with an emotional situation regarding a patient."
The Hollywood Reporter spoke with actress Ellen Pompeo who revealed further details about her character's struggle. Pompeo says that "she is really being challenged by people's ability to believe that she can do both...She's really taken aback by the lack of support she is getting, so it's really making her step up her game - or leave the game." Pompeo even hinted that Meredith might be written out! She says"I'm not sure where the writers are going, but I'm hoping they show she's either going to have to step up her game and prove them wrong or go the other way and not be a surgeon and leave the hospital, too."
TV Guide spoke with Kevin McKidd who plays Owen about the split with Cristina (Sandra Oh). Though it was Cristina who told him to move on, McKidd says "it's going to be a very interesting moment when she realizes maybe he's taken her advice at last". McKidd also reveals that although "He's had a really rough year last year as the Chief." He's "going to develop a strong relationship with Callie. But as far as closure between the two, McKidd isn't so sure: "Maybe it's more fun in a way to leave them without a full stop at the end of the sentence."
