After multiple evacuation orders were issued across Florida for Hurricane Milton, video was shared showing dozens of ambulances lined up waiting to evacuate nursing home residents.

Dozens of ambulances, many of which have their lights on, can be seen taking up a lane on a road as rain falls outside.

One person can be heard saying in the video, "They're evacuating a bunch of nursing homes. They're sending them to hospitals."

The video was taken in Sarasota County, where residents were told to head to homes on a higher level or evacuation centers in a Facebook post by local government officials.

In an update to the post, the Sarasota County Government wrote, "You only have a few hours left to evacuate for Hurricane Milton. If you are in an evacuation zone, GET OUT NOW!" The post added that many of the evacuation centers at local elementary schools have already filled up.

Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall Friday night, as reported by The Weather Channel. As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Milton was reported to have winds up to 130 mph. The storm is currently categorized as a Category 4 hurricane
