After so much buzz around "The Walking Dead" spinoff series, "Fear the Walking Dead," The premiere is finally upon us. The first episode doesn't have an official title but we can expect the series to kick off with gore, action, drama and walkers in the AMC pilot.
The network recently released the first three minutes of the pilot episode. In it, we see Frank Dillane's character Nick make a stunning discovery that sets all of the apocalyptic events in motion. Plus we have the episodes description courtesy of IMDB, which reads: "A highly dysfunctional blended family is forced together when they realize a reported virus is actually the onset of the undead apocalypse."
"The Walking Dead" spinoff is set in Los Angeles and follows a divorced male teacher, a female guidance counselor, and her two children – a son and daughter – in the opening stages of the zombie apocalypse as they come to terms with the impending collapse of civilization.
"Fear the Walking Dead" stars Kim Dickens as Madison Clark, Cliff Curtis as Travis Manawa, Frank Dillane as Nick Clark, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Alicia Clark, Lorenzo James Henrie as Chris Manawa, Elizabeth Rodriguez as Liza Ortiz, Rubén Blades as Daniel Salazar, Mercedes Mason and Patricia Reyes Spíndola.
"Fear the Walking Dead" premieres on AMC Sunday at 9/8c and will be available the next day on VOD, amc.com, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Xbox. AMC does offer a live stream service via its webiste but you must be a subscriber to the network through your cable provider and you must sign in.
