A video of a seagull named Gus stealing a tuna sandwich from a branch of Co-op store in Aberdeen, Scotland has gone viral.

Veberley Macdonald witnessed the crime. She was outside the shop when she saw Gus, who was earlier in news for targeting crisps. Soon, she pulled out her phone and started recording the hilarious video.

After timing his entrance through the automatic doors to perfection, Gus entered the store and went for the packaged sandwiches, reported Mirror. The seagull climbed up the shelf and took a tuna sandwich and made his way towards the exit. It appeared the bird got trapped for a while as he couldn't trigger the door's sensor. As Gus couldn't step out, a passersby opened the door for him.

Veberley posted the video on Facebook saying, "You’ll never believe who I ran into on the way to work this morning...MY BUDDY GUS!!!"

There have been other witnesses too.

One commented, "I drove past him a few days ago and he had a sandwich."

Another wrote, "God, sometimes I really do miss Aberdeen and how absolutely mental it is."

Talking about his other heists, Veberley said, "It seems to be every day that I see Gus, I see him most mornings or afternoons. At first it was crisps he was stealing now it's sandwiches. I thought it was so funny at first, he seems quite clever."

Back in March, it was reported that the seagull walked into the store and stole crisps. The video, which also got viral, began with the bird waiting outside the store before entering it, reported The Scottish Sun.

The bird walked along the first aisle to pick up some crisps. Then he made his exit. But it seemed like the bird was not in a rush as he stayed outside the store to enjoy the food.

One social media user wrote, "Stupid gull. You're meant to LEAVE the scene of a crime.

"Also love that he had a wee peruse of the flavors before going for ready salted."

Another commented, "Staying there and eating it in front of the shop is a total power move."

Another wrote, "Love that he rubs it in by eating it directly outside the shop."
