A Washington man is in jail for breaking into an apartment while its occupants slept and proceeding to engage in a series of lewd behaviors.

According to court papers, Steven Malepeai, 30, entered the apartment when he noticed the door was cracked open. Once inside, he allegedly lounged inside while the three female residents were asleep.

One woman woke up to him shaking her and "performing a sex act over her."

The woman told KOMO News she asked him, "What are you doing here? It's not your house. Who are you?"

Malepaei did not respond. Instead, he continued to lounge around the apartment, unbothered. He smoked cigarettes and drank milk out of the carton.

"He acted like it was his house," one of the roommates said. "He went to the bathroom, he went to the kitchen, he drank some milk."

When one of the women demanded Malepeai leave, he made a threatening gesture with his fist. Shortly afterward, he is said to have gone into a bedroom and passed out.

During his nap, an occupant called 911. Malepeai did not wake before the police arrived, spending more than half an hour in the apartment.

Police report that Malepeai has a history of lewd behavior. The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged Malepeai with residential burglary and indecent exposure.

He's being held at the King County jail on $100,000 bail.
