Blizzard has announced that the highly anticipated "World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor's" release date and opening cinematic trailer will be revealed within the next few weeks. The launch date and video will be unveiled at a premiere event Aug. 14 in Los Angeles.
Blizzard heads Mike Morhaime and Chris Metzen plus the "WoW" designers Ion Hazzikostas and Brian Holinka will be hosting the event at Ace Theater in LA. According the "WoW" blog, this event isn't just to reveal the launch date but also to premiere the first episode of a new miniseries from the company dubbed "Lords of War." There is also a live interview scheduled with the "WoW" developers at the event.
This "Warlords of Draenor" event will start at 9 a.m., PDT (12 p.m., ET) Aug. 14. For those not in California the event will be live streamed on the official "Warlords of Draenor" website. For those who can make it in person the event will be held at the Ace Hotel and the doors will open at 8:30 a.m., with seating available as first-come, first-served basis. Also those going in person will receive a huge bonus as Blizzard will give them all a beta key for the title.
For those who aren't aware "Warlords of Draenor" is the fifth expansion for the popular MMO, "World of Warcraft." The expansion was officially unveiled November 2013 at BlizzCon '13. "Warlords of Draenor" is the first expansion is the "WoW" pack to exist before the games timeline. It is also the second expansion that is set beyond the world of Azeroth. You can pre-purchase the expansion at Battle.net and it comes in three versions including a Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe and Collector's Edition.
