Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” has already been a wild ride but fans are in for even more of a shock, after last night’s episode “Isolation” we now have a solid grasp of this season’s ever impending threat. In addition to the zombies, the Governor and now a fatal flu like sickness, the remaining survivors certainly have the odds stacked against them. So is there tragedy on the horizon for the group at the prison, unfortunately, yes. Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, recently revealed that “The Walking Dead” will be channeling some “Game of Thrones” gore. The zombie filled post-apocalyptic world will be gaining a touch of Westeros with a scene that is similar to the infamous Red Wedding.

The Red Wedding was an iconic scene on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” the massacre took place during the War of the Five Kings, as revenge against Robb Stark. During the butchery, King Robb, his wife, Queen Talisa, his mother,Lady Catelyn, and most of his banner men and men-at-arms are murdered following the marriage of Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey. So if “The Walking Dead” has a similar scene, we are assuming that means that several major characters will be killed off.

In an interview with Schmoes Know, Reedus stated, “I will say this season, it has all the war and the blood and everything else that the first three seasons had, but it breathes a little bit differently. You really get into character development. You see what makes people stand up and fight and what makes people cower in the corner. It gets real tricky, and people talk about the threat within this season. And there’s like ten threats. I've done like a million interviews in the past week and nobody’s guessed it. This season is crazy.”

So Reedus is now telling us that on top of the previously known threats, and the flu that the survivors are just starting to feel, there are even more problems on the horizon?! How can they possibly survive? To further of fears of survival for Rick and his group, when asked if Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” was comparable to the Red Wedding, Reedus answered, “Yeah, without a doubt, just wait.”

What else could be lurking in the Atlanta woods, I mean of course more and more zombies. In last night’s episode, we watched as Daryl, Michonne, Tyreese and Bob had to abandon their journey to the animal hospital and leave the vehicle after encountering an enormous swarm of walkers. But this herd of walkers was far beyond any size that we have seen in pervious seasons. If these herd were to descend on the prison, it would absolutely be able to bust through the already weakened gates, and now after the discovery that the “zombie disease” is inside of everyone, it seems like there will forever be an endless supply of walkers. So with a rampant flu spread, and everyone being predisposed to turning into a zombie following death, how is it possible for the living to survive?
