AMC is going to air a seven-day "Walking Dead" marathon to begin on October 7 and end before the season four premiere on October 13. The marathon will consist of all three "Walking Dead" seasons in celebration of the upcoming fourth season. The marathon will begin with the pilot episode airing On Monday Oct. 7 at 8pm ET. The six episodes of season one will lead into the 13 episodes of season two airing at 8pm on Friday October 11. The "Walking Dead" marathon will end on the season four premiere date at 4pm.

Hardcore fans of the series will want to relive all the undead fun from the show's first three seasons. If you've never watched an episode of the show the marathon will be the perfect time to get into this fan favorite and critically acclaimed show. In the new season, Rick and the rest of the survivors building a safe community inside the protected walls of the prison.

The survivors might have more to worry about than the multitude of undead walkers looking to make a meal of them. The community members are dealing with growing hostilities within the group. The safety of their new home will be put to the test and so will their ability to survive what is going on in the world outside the prison. The season premiere of the "Walking Dead" on AMC will be followed by the "Talking Dead", a live after show hosted by Chris Hardwick.
