"The Walking Dead" video game will launch its second season later this year, USA Today reports. Game developer Telltale Games today announced that it will be launching a second series of its popular Walking Dead video game. The first season sold more than 21 million episodes. The second season will resume Clementine's journey as she attempts to survive the zombie apocalypse. As with "The Walking Dead's" inaugural season, the narrative will take place over five episode, culminating by the end of 2014. Each episode for PC and Mac is $5, or you can purchase the full series for $22.49. Versions for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Apple iOS are also coming soon.

"The Walking Dead" video game's first season gave us a 'choose your own adventure' RPG type game from the perspective of convict Lee Everett. However, with Lee dying at the end of the last episode, this season will give players the chance to play as Clementine as she fights for her life in Georgia. A screen-shot released from the game shows Clementine talking with someone in what MTV calls "a pretty distinctive baseball cap," suggesting Hershel Greene may make another appearance. You can pre-order "The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series" on PC/Mac through the Telltale Games Store, or online via Steam.

The Walking Dead Season 4 has kicked off to a terrifying start: "In last night's episode, we watched as Daryl, Michonne, Tyreese and Bob had to abandon their journey to the animal hospital and leave the vehicle after encountering an enormous swarm of walkers. But this herd of walkers was far beyond any size that we have seen in pervious seasons. If these herd were to descend on the prison, it would absolutely be able to bust through the already weakened gates, and now after the discovery that the "zombie disease" is inside of everyone, it seems like there will forever be an endless supply of walkers. So with a rampant flu spread, and everyone being predisposed to turning into a zombie following death, how is it possible for the living to survive?"
