Coming off an exciting Emmy win last night, "The Voice" is premiering Season 5 Tonight, Monday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC with original coaches Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Gree returning to claim their red chairs after Shakira and Usher filled them in Season 4. The returning coaches will be rejoining their old pals Adam Levine and Blake Shelton - and their bromance. Though, Adam and Blake's love for each other may be compromised by their competitiveness. Blake Shelton has won the past three seasons, so we may see the other coaches gang up to try to overthrow his rule. "I don't even want to win. I just want him to lose,"Adam told E! news.

"The Voice" won best reality-competition series at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards Sunday night, beating out last year's winner "The Amazing Race." This is the second year in a row "The Voice" was nominated. "American Idol" has been nominated nine times in the past, but has never won. And fans will tell you, when you compare "The Voice" to "American Idol" or "The X Factor" there is no comparison. The coaches have tapped a star-studded panel of mentors for Season 5, too, including OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, Ed Sheeran, Miguel and Cher. For those that miss tonight's episode can watch the full Season 5 two-hour premiere episode HERE Tuesday, Aug. 24. Check out a sneak peek of tonight's episode below and here's a few things you can expect from the Day 1 of the blind auditions and the new season.

1. The coaches will be celebrating their reunion with a group performance of the classic "I Love Rock N' Roll" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Watch it HERE. Reunited and it feels so good.

2. Blake will be in full brag mode. He has won the past three seasons and you better bet he'll pull that old trick where he brings in his old trophies to win over contestants. In one Season 5 promo he's seen with his trophies saying, "I can give you three reasons why you should pick me."

3. An early frontrunner, Matthew Schuler, will bring all four coaches out of their seats with his a capella performance of Young The Giant's "Cough Syrup." Watch it HERE. After his performance, we promise an epic fight between the coaches to ensue over him.

4. Per usual, Cee Lo will bring a new exotic pet. Season 2 Cee Lo brought his white cat, Purrfect, and Season 3 he had Lady Bird. For Season 5, the artist's boa constrictor will make an appearance, reports HuffPost Live!

5. Sadly, Chistina Milian will not be around to commentate on social media for Season 5. She is dancing her butt off on "Dancing With The Stars" this season.
