"The Voice"
Preston Pohl auditions on Season 5 of "The Voice." NBC

Last week on "The Voice" coaches Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine continued filling their teams in preparation for the battle rounds. In Week 2, the coaches looked a little bit pickier than they during Week 1 of the blind auditions. There were two four-chair turnarounds: one for James Irwin, 31, of Missouri who sang R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion." James was a contestant last season but wasn't able to turn any chairs. The show stopper of the night was the second four-chair turnaround for Ashley DuBose, 23, of Minnesota. She sang Rihanna's "Diamonds." Adam scored both James and Ashley, leaving his team looking pretty strong at the end of Week 2.

Some are speculating because of the strength of Adam's team he may very well be able to dethrone Blake, who has won the last three seasons. Although, good friends with a thriving bromance, Adam has made it no secret that his ultimate goal this season is to make sure Blake does not win yet again. Adam also won over standouts Tessanne Chin and James Wolpert in previous blind auditions. And at times, it seems that all of the coaches are conspiring against Blake to get him to lose this season. Coming into Week 3 of the blind auditions, Adam and Blake have two open spots on their team, Christina has one and Cee Lo has three.

Since the fall television season began, NBC has seen a 19 percent gain in viewers as compared to the same week in 2012. The Associated Press reports that a large reason NBC has started out so will is due to the success of the "The Voice," which premiered with nearly 15 million viewers at the end of September. However, CBS held onto the No. 1 most-watched network overall with an average 10.4 million viewers during the first week of the TV season. NBC followed up with an average 9.7 and ABC was third with 8 million. "The Voice" airs for two hours every Monday and Tuesday nights at 8/7 C on NBC.
