The Voice 2019 finale is here and this is the moment that everyone has been waiting for. In the last episode of the show, part 1 of the final round aired live. It was hosted by Carson Daly who said that they have finally arrive at the most important day of the competition.
The announcement for the final winner of “The Voice 2019” is just three performances away as the four finalists that include Katie Kadan (Team Legend), Ricky Duran (Team Blake), Rose Short (Team Gwen) and Jake Hoot (Team Kelly) have been tasked to perform covers and duets for their final performances. The four’s last stages consist of an original song, a cover and finally a holiday duet with their respective coach.
This is the first time in the history of the competition that all four coaches have a candidate competing in “The Voice 2019 Finale.” The competition has been divided into two parts and the second day has been set to air on Tuesday night in the U.S.
"For the first time in seven seasons, all four of our coaches are represented tonight," USA Today quoted Daly as saying. "We are fired up for that."
Aside from the three performances of each of the contestants “The Voice 2019 Finale” will also feature performances from top artists such as the Black Eyed Peas who will perform “RITMO (Bad Boys for Life),” Jennifer Hudson will render “Memory” and international pop superstar Dua Lipa will take the stage and sing “Don’t Start Now.”
The three-hour musical competition show has also invited the season 16 winner of “The Voice.” Maelyn Jarmon will upped the mood with the Christmas classic song “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” Lastly, the top 13 contestants are also expected to perform together for their last stage.
Heavy predicted that Jake Hoot will bring home the crown in “The Voice 2019 Finale.” This is because they pointed out that the country singer’s simple but powerful singing style has captivated the audience.
He is also very charming that even the coaches are fond of him. Most importantly, they believe he will be victorious as the Apple Music rankings sealed the win for him. During the first part of “The Voice 2019 Finale,” the four finalists performed two songs and the goal for this was to stream the most songs on Apple Music until 7 a.m. on Dec. 17.
The contestant who will place first will be given the advantage of having their votes multiplied by five times. Hoot has been winning the streaming every week and the finale is his fifth win that even earned him the Apple Music Bonus for his performances of “Amazed” and “Better Off Without You.”
