There’s no doubt that we fell even more in love with Beyoncé after her Grammys performance, and were mesmerized by Katy Perry’s mystic forrest and her “Dark Horse” interpretation. And just like every other mortal, Vin Diesel was also inspired by the two divas and decided to pay a little tribute to them. Well, sorta. It turns out that Diesel got some great news that he decided to share with his fans on his Facebook page and he recorded a video of himself dancing to the beats of both Beyoncé and Perry’s hits.
The clip begins with the “Fast and Furious” actor dancing to “Dark Horse.” He sings along to the lyrics, enthusiastically rocking out to the tune and doing a little head-banging too. The seven-and-a-half-minute video continues with Diesel dancing and trying to follow Juicy J’s rap, and soon after it, he stops and delivers a message to his fans.
"Guys I'm just, I'm excited I'm happy, and calling you guys or shouting out to you guys to say thank you,” he started off saying. “Universal just called me and told me that ‘Riddick’ is No. 1 on the EVD charts. There's no way in the world ‘Riddick’ would have been made without you guys, you know that…remember how arduous of a road it was to get them to make it rated R and to do it with such a low budget," he added proudly.
"And it's a win for all of us, and really really really thank you so much," he continues. "Yeah, I'm excited. Of course, Universal is also saying they want to develop the next one!" He goes on to rap a little more Juicy J and then proceeds to take his mic once again to talk a little bit more.
"Did you guys see the Grammys last night?" he asks. "Like I said, I couldn't go because I had to work, I had to do just all the work that goes into getting ready to get back up and shooting ‘Fast and Furious 7,’ so I couldn't have the luxury of going and checking out all the cool performances but some of them were kinda…" he says as he turns up the music, which happens to be Beyoncé's song "Drunk in Love."
Vin continues to sing along the sexy tune and even tries to imitate Queen B’s provocative movements but he ends up looking a little clumsy. Although don’t get us wrong, we loved watching this macho man in a relaxed attitude, very funny, approachable and attempting to “surfboard.” If you haven’t seen it yet, you’re missing a hilarious video.
