Vida Guerra, Cuban-American glamour model had a little scare a couple days ago as she had to undergo an unplanned procedure due to her breast implants. "This morning had to get emergency surgery," the model posted on Instagram on September 23. "So thankful and grateful to be alive in a bit of pain but getting better. Life is short. You never know what the day will bring so make sure to follow your dreams and live life to the fullest."

The next morning Guerra adressed her followers again after the procedure was completed. "Good morning! Hey everyone thanks for your prayers and comments you left on my previous pic," she wrote. "You wanted to know what surgery I had and here it is," she wrote on the caption that showed her breast covered by a gauze. "My right breast became capsulized which means I had a lot of scar tissue build up causing me extreme pain on my right breast and then the pain also went to my back which I have been dealing with for over a year." Vida goes on to explain that she had been suffering from pains for weeks before the emergency surgery, "this summer the pain became so unbearable and the last 2 weeks the pain ha increase forcing me to get emergency surgery."

This scare caused the model to reflect on the augmenation she had and now regrets doing so. "Breast implants are beautiful but not worth it. I wish I had left my natural boobs which were beautiful these are also beautiful but complications can happen so at the end of the day it isn't worth. Natural beauty is where its at so embrace yourself and be true to you. I'm having a lot of pain and I'm a bit swollen but the breast are looking perfect so I'm pleased. Again thank you all for your support. I love you. I'm so lucky to have you guys interested in my well being feeling blessed."

Vida is not only a sensual model, she has also worked in television projects like "Hacienda Heights" and "Eastbound And Down." The big screen has also been a medium Guerra explored, and has appeared in projects like "Filly Brown," "Tamales And Gumbo," and "Strawberry For The Homeless." She is most known to Hispanic audiences for her multiple appearances on Univision's gossip show "El Gordo y la Flaca."
