As tradition holds, Veterans Day, celebrated annually on November 11, honors all those people who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The official United States federal holiday also marks the anniversary of the end of World Ward I. It's important to note that the national holiday is not to be confused with the Memorial Day holiday (a day to remember those brave people who gave their lives and those who perished while in service).
