“This Is Us” Season 4 will be premiering in just a few more weeks, and details about the upcoming premiere episode have already been revealed. In fact, NBC also dropped three new photos from Season 4, Episode 1.
One of the snaps shows Randall (Sterling K. Brown) celebrating his birthday with his family. He is sitting in the dining room when his two children come in with a beautiful white cake. Randall’s adopted daughter and his wife are also in the picture.
In the second photo, Toby (Chris Sullivan) and Kate (Chrissy Metz) are gushing over their adorable newborn son, Jack. The baby will finally be cleared from the NICU, and he will be going home for the first time ever in the premiere episode.
The picture shows Kate carrying Jack in her arms, while Toby is kissing his adorable son on the head. Creator Dan Fogelman recently told Entertainment Weekly that the fourth season of “This Is Us” will serve as a reset for all of the characters.
The series creator also said that the upcoming episodes from the hit NBC drama are very ambitious because of the timeline of the events that will be featured on the show. Just like in the previous seasons, there will be present-day storylines and throwback storylines in Season 4.
Meanwhile, Kevin (Justin Hartley) is expected to have several important scenes in this season of “This Is Us.” The character just became sober recently, and he decided to relocate to Los Angeles. While there, he gets cast in a new movie.
In the photo, Kevin’s face is covered in dust while standing behind the door of his car. He has a stern or worried look on his face. Standing behind Kevin are police officers.
Additionally, Rebecca (Mandy Moore) and Jack’s (Milo Ventimiglia) courtship will also be highlighted in the series. In the upcoming episodes, Jack will be meeting Rebecca’s parents for the first time.
“There are going to be some family dynamics that enter the equation from my side, having to contend with my parents and their thoughts on him,” Moore told the publication. “I’m curious to see how Jack boxes it all up and stuffs it away, and I think it’s going to be a process,” Ventimiglia added.
