A photo of Ukrainian Ambassador to the US, Oksana Markarova, holding her head in her hands as President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy all yell at each other has gone viral.

Zelensky met with the President and Vice President in the White House on Friday, discussing developments pertaining to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the aid provided by the US toward Ukraine.

The meeting quickly devolved into a screaming match, with Trump and Vance harshly criticizing the Ukrainian President, accusing him of ignoring diplomatic agreements, repeatedly calling him disrespectful and accusing him of "gambling with World War III." At one point, a pro-Trump reporter even questioned Zelenskyy on his attire, asking him why he didn't wear a suit.

During the confrontation, Markarova can be seen holding her head in her hands seemingly in exasperation as the conversation between the three men becomes increasingly heated.

Many were disappointed that following the meeting's conclusion, Zelenskyy left the Oval Office without Trump's signature on a critical minerals deal that Trump himself had asked for in exchange for the US's continued support of Ukraine.

Trump then took to Truth Social to post his takeaways from the meeting.

"We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure," he wrote.

"It's amazing what comes out through emotion, and I've determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for peace if America is involved, because he feels our involvement gives him a big advantage in negotiations."

"I don't want advantage, I want PEACE. He disrespected the United States of America in its cherished Oval Office. He can come back when he's ready for peace," Trump concluded.
