Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán is a Mexican notorious drug lord, leader of Sinaloa Cartel. He was arrested overnight in a hotel in Mexico at a family gathering in Mazatlán. "El Chapo" is worth $1 billion, and it is estimated that he has caused 10,000 deaths. He faces multiple federal drug trafficking indictments and is on the DEA’s most wanted list. He has been pursued for a couple of weeks. He smuggles different drugs throughout Colombia, Mexico throughout the United States. These drugs include marijuana, heroine and methamphetamine. He was captured in ’93 and sentenced to 20 years in prison. Later escaped in 2001.
Since then, the "El Chapo" has become the most wanted drug lord in Mexico and the United States. This arrest ends a long manhunt that been going on for months and finally they could hunt him down. Although, he's been arrested before, but bribed a prison guard and escaped. Since his escape he's built quite a name for himself.
