Twilight actor Gregory Tyree Boyce and his girlfriend Natalie Adepoju breathed their last on Wednesday, May 13. Boyce and Adepoju’s bodies were found in the former's L.A. apartment. While the cause of the death is yet to be known, a detailed probe of the scene led to the discovery of a white powdery substance -- as reported to TMZ by trusted sources. This piece of information is yet to be confirmed by authorities.
Boyce, who’s best remembered as “focused” and passionate, was best remembered for his roles Tyler Crowley in the first "Twilight" franchise movie, and the 2018 short flick, "Apocalypse."
Condolences started pouring in for the fledgling actor. But, what caught several eyes was his mum’s heart-wrenching note that was posted on social media on May 17. “My baby boy, Greg Boyce was the best chef....oh man. He was in the process of starting a wing business, West Wings. He created the flavors to his perfection and named them after west coast rappers. Snoop Dog, Kendrick Lamar, Roddy Ricch, The Game, etc.” She added, “He had flavors like Tequila Lime Agave...those were my favorite. A Hennessy Maple flavor, oh man, just so damn good. I can say that my son was my favorite chef. He was on to something great and that was his passion.”
The 30-year-old, who seemed to have battled issues in the past rang in his birthday in December and had Adepoju by his side as he ushered in the new year. In a rather heart-warming IG post, Boyce wrote, “'At one point I didn't think I would make it to see 30-years-old. Over the years like everyone else, I have made mistakes along the way, but today is one of those days I only reflect on the great ones. What a time to be alive. Happy Dirty 30 self! Let's make the rest of these years your best!”
Boyce is survived by his 10-year-old daughter, while Adepoju has a young son named Egypt. The two have been together for nearly a year. People who’ve known Adepoju closely believe she was a “loving daughter, niece, sister, cousin, and friend” (as per a statement on a funding portal.)
