President Donald Trump declared he is "all for" deporting violent criminals, even if they are U.S. citizens.

"If they're criminals, and if they hit people with baseball bats over the head that happen to be 90 years old, and if they rape 87-year-old women in Coney Island, Brooklyn, yeah," Trump responded when asked whether he would deport fully naturalized, U.S. citizens.

"They're as bad as anybody that comes in," Trump continued in a clip circulating on X. "We have bad ones too, and I'm all for it because we can do things with the president for less money and have great security," he added, referring to El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele.

Trump hosted Bukele at the Oval Office in the White House on Monday. During their joint press conference, the two presidents discussed the Trump administration's ongoing deportations to the Central American's Terrorism Confinement Center, one of the world's largest maximum security prisons.

The Trump administration is paying Bukele $6 million to detain deported undocumented immigrants and U.S. citizens alike. More than 200 deported prisoners with alleged gang ties have been deported to the prison since March. However, more than 90% of the deported migrants do not have a criminal record, according to reporting by the Los Angeles Times.
