President Trump's Border Czar Tom Homan, complained during a CNN interview that "well-educated" migrants are learning how to hide from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

"They've been educated on how to defy ICE, how to hide from ICE. I've seen many pamphlets from many NGOs: 'Here's how you escape ICE from arresting you. Here's what you need to do.' They call it 'Know Your Rights.' I call it 'how to escape arrest,'" Homan said on Tuesday.

Homan was referring to efforts from Chicago, which he declared ground zero for deportations. Last week, the city's Mayor Brandon Johnson launched a public awareness campaign under the same name.

In a series of videos plastered across transit trains in the major city, a QR code directs riders to the "Know Your Rights" website, filled with links to resource guides, events and organizations.

Homan asserted the Trump administration's efforts to maintain dozens of daily arrests will continue despite such initiatives.

"If we gotta play that cat and mouse game, that's what we're going to do 'til every one of them's gone," he added.

The agency's efforts have recently ramped up its efforts, with ICE making close to 1,200 arrests on Sunday alone, NBC News reported. However, just a little over half of those arrested had criminal records, a deviation from Trump's previous promise to only target criminal migrants.
