‘True Blood’ Season 6 Spoilers: Sookie’s New Love Interest Is A Faerie Played By Rob Kazinsky [PHOTO & VIDEO]

Sookie Stackhouse is at it again! The "True Blood" heroine, played by Canadian-born actress Anna Paquin, has a new love interest! Sookie has famously dated vampires, and even had a few tense moments with a werewolf but now she has set her sights on a fellow faerie played by new cast member Rob Kazinsky.

Apparently Sookie is not yet looking for love and is not into the new faerie in town, Ben. But after learning more about him and perhaps letting go of some past heartache, Sookie heats things up "True Blood's" new character. TV Guide sat down with Rob Kazinsky and exposed some juicy gossip about his new character Ben, and of course his relationship with Sookie!

So while fans of "True Blood" may be crying out for Team Bill or Team Eric, we don't even know who Ben is yet. Maybe we will end up loving him, or maybe we will end up hating him! Rob explained just who his character is, "Ben is the male equivalent of Sookie. He is a faerie hybrid, but unlike her, he doesn't have a family. He's ostracized from his own people - from fae and humans. He's never felt like he's had a home." Rob also reveals that because Sookie meets Ben and does not fall victim to some horrible mess after, Sookie realizes that she needs to help him and not the other way around. "That leads to a new side of Sookie, I think."

Rob also discussed what it would be like to play Sookie's new love interest on a show that is so dedicated to its characters. "I knew there would be a certain backlash from corners of the audience. The Bill, Eric and Alcide camps certainly wouldn't appreciate having another love interest in town." But he also reveals that ben may be the best choice for our beloved Sookie, "en is the first character that has been on this show as a love interest for her that is actually a good guy that could actually be a life for her. They're both as lost and lonely as each other. They're the same species; both faerie hybrids."

In typical Sookie fashion, apparently the first meeting between the faeries wasn't exactly romantic. Sookie is heartbroken and certainly not looking for another relationship, but Rob explains that Sookie is "a bleeding heart and she'll always take in a charity case, and I don't think there's a bigger charity case on the show than Ben." He also revealed that when they first meet Sookie realizes the attraction and tension and decides that she is not doing that again, but we all know Sookie, and apparently she is doing it again.
