We are up to number three! "Top Gear" Season 22 episode 3 airs Sunday, February 8. Last episode, featured the trio driving across Australia's northern territory, also known as the Outback, in modern GT cars. The presenters must drive their cars across the Outback and arrive at a 3.2 million acre farm to herd 4,000 cows! For this endeavor, Jeremy Clarkson has selected a BMW M6 Grand Coupe. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond decided to go with a Bentley Continental. Finally, James May had chosen a Nissan GT-R for the task. In the end, with the help of helicopter herders, the three blokes manage to successfully complete their mission.
This week, there is a new challenge for the three presenters that promise to be a lot more difficult. Watch Clarkson, Hammond, and May try to create their very own interpretation of an ambulance or emergency vehicle in an effort to deliver new ideas that will improve response rates. As with all Top Gear challenges, expect the produces to put the trio through a series of tests. From what we can see in the trailer, there will be a lot of mannequin casualties as one in particular is fired out from the back of a van while another falls out of the useless rear hatch of a station wagon.
Next, we are excited to see Red Bull Racing Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo behind the wheel of the Suzuki Liana in the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car segment. Be sure to see it all go down on Sunday, February 8. If you miss the program, visit the BBC iPlayer to watch it online. Be sure to watch the preview in the video below!
