After a failed season in New York led to his signing with the New England Patriots this past June, Tim Tebow's NFL career appeared on the right track. Even though the former University of Florida standout would not see an extensive amount of playing time - barring injuries to Patriot QB's Tom Brady and Ryan Mallett - the fact that Tebow was with an organization known for its ability to utilize player talent to the fullest was a positive sign. Failing to make the final roster after a decent preseason however, the 26-year-old is now a free agent, left to wonder if his days as an NFL quarterback are through.

While there may not be a plethora of NFL teams throwing themselves at the former Heisman Trophy winner, Tebow will be happy to know that many fans of one particular organization hold him in high regard. Thanks to the consistent struggles of their favorite team, multiple Jacksonville Jaguars fans gathered outside EverBank Field in Jacksonville on Monday to show their support for the beloved Tim Tebow. According to Christian Science Monitor, the rally started at 3:16pm, a numerical figure identical to that of Tebow's favorite Bible passage, John 3:16. The first of many weekly rallies Jags fans hope to hold, 40 supporters showed up to implore Jaguars higher-ups to sign the quarterback since the franchise continues to struggle mightily.

Group founder James Stewart, an avid supporter of Tim Tebow and the Jacksonville Jaguars, believes this is the ideal time for the abysmal team to bring in the lively and athletic Tim Tebow since fans are beginning to grow restless with the on-field performance of the team. Indicating that these rallies will go on for weeks or until the team signs the quarterback, Stewart said on the website www.jags-tebow.com that he hopes fans continue to attend every rally.

THIS IS TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE WILL RALLY EACH MONDAY AT EVERBANK FROM 5PM TO 7PM. THE RALLY ON SEP 16TH WAS A START. IN ALL THERE WERE APPROX 100 SUPPORTERS. THE JAGS REPORTED ATTENDANCE FOR THIS EVENT THEREFORE WAS 24,100. THE RALLY ALLOWED OUR "JAGS TEBOW WHY NOT?" ORGANIZERS TO MEET & BEGIN TO CO-ORDINATE THE EFFORT.

THE TAILGATE EVENT WAS A MORE OF A RELAXED COOK OUT. BUT LET THERE BE NO MISTAKE. WE ARE LIKE COCKROACHES IN THAT FOR EACH ONE THAT YOU SEE THERE ARE 50 YOU DON'T SEE.

WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS YET TO BE DEPLOYED AS ORGANIZERS WERE OVERWHELMED WITH CALLS, TEXT AND EMAILS. COME OUT & SHOW THE JAGS FRONT OFFICE WE WANT TEBOW.

Since entering the National Football League in 2010, Tim Tebow has thrown for over 2,400 yards and 17 touchdowns while rushing for a total of 989 yards and 12 scores.

While it is not expected that Jacksonville will sign Tim Tebow anytime soon, the fact that a growing number of Jaguar fans continue to physically and verbally show support for the quarterback certainly leaves the door open for a Tebow-Jaguars marriage down the road.
