Scott Roeder the convicted killer of abortion doctor George Tiller is being reprimanded in prison for threats he made against a woman who has reportedly reopened Tiller's clinic in Wichita Kansas.
"If 100 abortionists were shot, they would probably go out of business," Tiller's killer said in a telephone interview with anti-abortionist Dave Leach. "I think eight have been shot, so we've got 92 to go. Maybe she'll be number nine," Tiller said in reference to the woman reopening Tiller's clinic.
News Max reports that one of the district attorneys on the Tiller killer murder case saw the video of the Roeder interview when it was posted on YouTube. Ann Swegle sent a letter to the Kansas Department of Corrections asking if they were taking any action against Roeder for the threats he made in the interview.
For 45 days Tiller's killer will be placed in solitary confinement in his cell for 23-hours a day. Roeder will only have one hour a day to go outside to the prison yard and exercise. The Tiller killer will then have limited privileges for another 60-days. Roeder was also fined $20 for what he said in the interview.
Anti-abortionist Scott Roeder murdered Doctor George Tiller in 2009. The doctor was hanging up fliers at his church when Roeder came in and shot him. This was not the first attempt on Tiller's life. In 1986 Tiller's clinic was firebombed. A female anti-abortion activist shot him five times in the early part of the 1990s.
The abortion doctor was known for providing women with late term abortions. A practice, which had FOX News host Bill O'Reilly, naming the doctor "Tiller the baby killer."
Despite being a prisoner for the last five-years Tiller's killer has not stopped making threats against the woman opening Tiller's clinic.
"To walk in there and reopen a clinic, a murder mill where a man was stopped, is almost like putting a target on your back saying, "well let's see if you can shoot me.""
In the interview Tiller's killer said, "It would be a blessing to the babies, but everyone else will panic. [Reopening the clinic] is a reckless act, it is not the act of someone who values their own safety."
Roeder is currently serving a life sentence for the 2009 murder of George Tiller.
