Emma Coronel, wife of Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán, and Michael Corleone Blanco, the only surviving son of the Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco, had an unexpected encounter that drew significant attention.

This unusual meeting between two figures tied to the world of drug trafficking revealed surprising aspects of their current lives.

Coronel, known for her unwavering loyalty to El Chapo, shared her entrepreneurial aspirations with Blanco, whose mother inspired the Netflix series 'Griselda,' starring Sofía Vergara.

"I'm thinking of launching a clothing line under Joaquín's name," Coronel admitted, expressing her desire to bring to life a project she had planned with her husband before his imprisonment. Blanco, who has already ventured into the fashion industry with his brand Pure Blanco, offered his advice and support.

"It's a process. When we started, it was tough because no one wanted a narco-branded product," Blanco shared, recounting the challenges he faced when launching his clothing line inspired by his mother.

The son of the "Godmother" encouraged Coronel

"People will sling hate, people will talk badly, but at the end of the day, they're not paying your bills," he said, urging her to pursue her dreams despite criticism.

Their conversation, which took place in 2019 and was featured on the reality show 'Cartel Crew,' captivated viewers. Coronel expressed her longing for normalcy, a sentiment Blanco deeply understood. "Yes, we are normal. I consider myself a normal woman," Coronel stated, lamenting the prejudice she often faces.

The meeting also had lighter moments. Marie, Blanco's wife, spoke about her plans to visit Mexico but expressed safety concerns. Proud of her homeland, Coronel warmly offered her company. "I love Mexico, and I can travel freely throughout the country. Call me, and I'll gladly join you," she replied.

This encounter highlighted not only the unexpected connection between the two families but also their efforts to forge new identities away from the criminal world that once defined them.

As Emma takes her first steps into entrepreneurship, Pure Blanco has successfully turned a controversial legacy into a thriving business.

The brand's online store offers products ranging from t-shirts to phone cases featuring Griselda Blanco's image, capitalizing on her notoriety while carving a new path for her son.
