We are not sure who is more excited for the new album, Thalia or us? The Mexican songstress is two days away from debuting her highly anticipated album production titled "Latina."
With brand-spanking new songs under her sleeves, including the already released "Desde Esa Noche" featuring Maluma" and "Vuelveme a querer," Thalía is stoked to introduce a new baby to her discography. "Only three days [left] until 'Latina's' release!!!," expressed the singer on social media, announcing that her forthcoming studio production is already available for pre-order on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.
In a recent interview with Latina magazine, the telenovela actress and singer elaborated on why her new production is called "Latina." "La cultura Latina en este momento is powerful," she told Latina of the Latino community. "It’s like everybody wants to understand it. Everybody wants to hear us, hear what we have to say, need our votes, need our music to feel happy and to feel good and free. It’s like a big Latino movement right now in the world. It’s like that need to know more about us," she added of the production that had tracks recorded in different places such as Mexico, Los Angeles, Miami, Colombia, Puerto Rico and New York.
"Latina," which is Thalía's 13th studio album following "Amore Mio" released in 2014, will debut this week Friday. In the meantime, here are some reasons why we are counting down with our favorite gal!
1) The new album is home to 13 new tracks! I mean, seriously, we can't get enough of Thalía!
2) Thalía let the whold world know that her fortchoming album will be all the rage when she presented the first single "Desde esa noche" with Colombian urban heartthrob Maluma.
3) We bet some of Maluma's fan, who were probably not aware of Thalía's awesome trajectory, are also counting down for this album.
4) Her second single, "Vuelveme a querer," is a romantic tune that is also making us eager!
5) But Maluma is not the only collaboration on board. In the album is a song called "De Ti" with vallenato singer Silvestre Dangond.
6) She also takes it old school with one of the first reggaeton artists in the urban genre, De La Ghetto, in a song called "Todavia te quiero."
7) And... she has another song called "Todo" featuring OMI and former Gente de Zona member/rising Cuban singer Jacob Forever.
8) Needless to say, she had the magic hands of Sergio George working on this album. The Latin Grammy-winning producer is responsible for super hits such as Marc Anthony's "Vivir Mi Vida."
9) There is a song titled "Tiki Tiki Ta [Uno Momento]," which is definitely calling our attention.
10) And with this new album, we hope comes a telenovela comeback!
