Thalía is definitely being spoiled by her husband, and she totally deserves it! The Mexican singer, actress and entrepreneur revealed her Christmas gift from her husband Tommy Mottola on Instagram leaving all her fans and followers breathless after the post.
The Latin superstar posted the video while unwrapping an I. Magning & Co. alligator handbag owned by Marilyn Monroe and valued at $37,500. Yeah, $37,500. A Christmas gift from her husband Tommy Mottola who wanted to surprise her with something special from her idol, Ms. Monroe.
The gift consists of a collection bag with Marilyn’s personal comb, lipstick and makeup set.
“Only when you’re a fan, you can understand the degree of insanity! Tommy gave me on this Christmas a bag from unique and unmatched @marilynmonroe that was auctioned… It contains a personal comb and a lipstick from those emblematic red lips plus a compact to tint that timeless face. Being a fan is a privilege that only a few know,” she quoted.
Later, the Mexican superstar shared an screenshot if a webpage with a picture of the same bag displaying at the bottom: “Wanted: Julien’s Auction’s executive director said this is ‘one of the most important and historic auctions of Marilyn Monroe ever,’” and the singer commented: “Lucky me!”
She also posted another pic before going to bed: a Marilyn’s signed photo where the Hollywood star signs an autograph to a fan.
