A Cypress Ridge High School student has been accused of killing a 16-year-old fugitive who was shot in a Houston motel room on Dec. 16, court records state.
Tyrone Fiamahn was discovered dead with gunshot wounds to his head, neck, back, and arm Dec. 19, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. For his death, Victoria Duron, 17, is accused of capital murder.
Duron alleges that her minor boyfriend who has not been officially identified, shot and killed Fiamahn. In accordance with the Harris County Sheriff's Office, police thought he had been deceased for a few days.
Duron informed detectives that she knew Fiamahn as Knox. She stated that her boyfriend sold drugs that he obtained from him. She alleged Fiamahn had accused her and her partner of stealing drugs the night before his death, an accusation both parties vigorously disputed. According to her, her boyfriend then shot Fiamahn multiple times, as per court documents acquired by DailyMail.com.
The couple searched through Fiamahn's belongings before escaping with $1,000, THC vapes from his backpack, the victim's phone, and a rifle.
Duron claimed that the two went to the uncle of her boyfriend where they both confessed to the killing. The clothing the two were both wearing on the day of the shooting, according to her, was assisted in burning by the uncle.
A man and a woman, both wearing hooded jackets, are seen being dropped off in a Ford F150 Lyft truck on Dec. 16 in a video surveillance clip recorded from the motel.
According to court documents, the couple is seen knocking on the door, and when it is opened, they enter the same room where Fiamahn was discovered.Cellphone records show Duron was near the motel at the time of the murder, court records reveal.
Duron provided police with a voluntary statement, which was made accessible in court documents on Tuesday. However, detectives claimed that in those documents, she provided only partial truths and repeatedly lied.
Which of Duron's claims were deemed untrue by the authorities, and how that was done, remained unclear.
According to the Harris County District Attorney's Office, no other details regarding Duron's claimed boyfriend were disclosed.
A family member of Fiamahn has established a GoFundMe to assist with funeral costs.
'A smart, outgoing and courageous person; Tyrone never seemed to ever be bothered by his surroundings no matter the situation or condition, he always made the best of what he had,' they wrote.
'He cared for his family and friends dearly. Sadly his life was cut short in the most tragic way one could imagine.
'He had a bright future ahead of him with his family right behind. Unfortunately, we will not get to see our brother, our cousin, or our friend graduate from high school or achieve any of his life goals,' they said.
On Wednesday, they had nearly $2,000 raised toward their $20,000 target.
