A Tesla Cybertruck owner in Massachusetts says his family has been repeatedly harassed while using the vehicle because of its association with Elon Musk and President Donald Trump.

Dr. Kumait Jaroje, a Syrian immigrant and business owner, purchased a gold Tesla Cybertruck as a promotional tool for his medical spa, CBS News reported.

However, on February 7, he discovered a profane sticker on the truck. When he shared the incident on social media, he began receiving threats, further escalating tensions.

Jaroje believes the harassment intensified after Musk publicly endorsed Trump and was later appointed as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The Cybertruck owner says his family now faces near-daily hostility, with people "screaming" at them, making obscene gestures, and even attempting to cut him off while driving.

"Now, they're not just waving at me, they're not just giving me the middle finger. Somebody tried to cut me off while I'm driving with my kids and three guys came out of the car and just pointed the middle finger and started screaming at me," said Jaroje.

His wife was so shaken by the sticker incident that she has refused to drive the Cybertruck. Attempts to trade in the vehicle have been unsuccessful, with Tesla reportedly telling him that the company is not currently accepting Cybertruck trade-ins.

Worcester Police are investigating the threats, but Jaroje remains anxious for his family's safety.
