Several explosions have been reported in central Israel, although the exact targets have not yet been confirmed. One reporter in Israel told CNN that he saw multiple missiles being intercepted over Tel Aviv, and saw at least two impacts himself.
Several Israelis were injured in the attack, according to local health officials, either from shrapnel or while running to the bomb shelter to escape the bombs. A Palestinian man is believed to be the only fatality.
Israeli citizens were told to shelter in place before the attacks, as reported by the Associated Press. Iran confirmed the attacks in a statement from the country's military Tuesday.
