Super Bowl weekend isn't all about football and ads. Given the timing in late January, the Super Bowl is also a great opportunities for all the major movies of 2015 to share a new trailer.
This strategy isn't anything new and are usually very well received by movie buffs. For the studio, the trailer will also be a small test to gauge early reception as well. This year, there are as many as 10 movies that will drop new trailers during the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Big movie trailers during the Super Bowl include a new "Fast and Furious 7" ad spot that will unveil new movie footage ahead of its April 3 release date. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and "Avengers: Age of Ultron,"
All-new action titles include an old-school disaster movie titled "San Andreas," starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. "Tomorrowland" is an all-new sci-fi adventure movie starring George Clooney and Hugh Laurie alongside Britt Roberston. Returning sci-fi movies include "Terminator: Genisys" with a grizzled Arnold Schwarzenegger. "Mad Max: Fury Road" renews a classic future dystopian adventure starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron. Finally, "Jurassic World" brings dinosaurs big to the big screen.
Finally, on the comedy end, get ready to see the trailer for "Ted 2" and "The Minions" during the Super Bowl.
