The competition was fierce on Sunday night with the finale of "La Voz Kids" on Telemundo and the last episodes of hit telenovela "Amores Verdaderos" on Univision. Latino audiences were torn between watching Paola Guanche win the first season of the singing competition show or the tragic ending villain "Kendra Ferreti" (Marjorie De Sousa) received on the Mexican soap.
Nielsen results are in and we can now reveal that the kids version of "The Voice" finished off with over 2.6 million viewers and 1.3 million among adults 18-49. According to Deadline, that was an 11 percent increase in the demo over the previous week and an 8 percent increase in viewership over all.
