A transgender woman was brutally attacked and stabbed by a group of masked youths in a premeditated assault in London after a member of the group discovered her identity following a sexual encounter.

In Harrow, northwest London, on January 2024, the 18-year-old victim was lured into an intimate encounter with Bradley Harris, 18, one of her eventual attackers, according to LBC.

Upon learning of her transgender identity through a friend, Harris became hostile and, along with his peers, orchestrated a plan to harm her.

Using Snapchat to plot the assault, the group devised a false invitation to a roller disco, intending to lure her to a secluded location.

On February 10, 2024, the victim arrived at a bus stop believing she was meeting the group for the planned event. Instead, she was ambushed in a nearby car park by the masked assailants, who launched a relentless attack.

Summer Betts-Ramsey, 20, stabbed her at least 14 times while Harris, Camron Osei, 18, Shiloh Hindes, 18, and a 17-year-old kicked, punched, and struck her with objects.

The attack, lasting about 45 seconds, left the victim with severe injuries, including stab wounds that penetrated her abdomen.

Bystanders called an ambulance, and the victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

All five attackers pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent. Betts-Ramsey also admitted to possessing a knife, while the 17-year-old was charged with robbery and drug possession.

The victim, who suffers from thick scars and ongoing trauma, described her daily struggles with trust, fear, and mental health.

Sentencing proceedings for the perpetrators continue Thursday.
