Even more casting news for season four of “Teen Wolf” has emerged online. E! News has revealed that Mason Dye and Khylin Rhambo will join the supernatural teens in Beacon Hill next season in “heavily recurring roles!” Dye, who recently starred in “Flowers in the Attic” is set to play Garrett who is a new student joining the Beacon Hills Lacrosse team. Rhambo who was in “Ender’s Game” will also play another member of the team named Mason. Mason is said to be the funny freshman type and is also a new gay character for the show, but is described as “not your stereotypical gay character.”
But that’s not all, we’ll also be introduced to another new character named Violet. She is a new student at Beacon Hills High School and is described as “She’s a pretty 16-year-old high schooler who is very unassuming … but she’s a lot tougher than you’d think,” according to E!. Hypable points out that season four is recruiting a lot of younger cast members and Violet is one of them. At 16-years-old she’s most likely a sophomore.
Dye and Rhambo aren't the only new faces "Teen Wolf" fans will be meeting when the MTV hit returns for its fourth season. “Man of Steel” star Dylan Sprayberry, who played a young Clark Kent, will play another new lacrosse player named Liam, who is described as a cocky and handsome freshman with an enviable athletic prowess at Beacon Hills High School. Also tough huntress Braeden, played by Meagan Tandy, has confirmed she too will reprise her role in season four. Lastly, Beacon Hills High School is getting a new teacher and the town will be introduced to a mean cop.
While it is awesome to see the show getting more actors for season four It is worth noting that some of these characters may not survive the season. “Teen Wolf” producers are known to introduce a character for the sheer purpose of killing them off the show for some dramatic purpose. Take Stiles childhood friend in early season three and lets not forget Erica and Boyd.
