In a new teaser clip released by MTV via the "Teen Wolf" Facebook page it looks as if season three will get intense very fast. The clip features a frightening look into how our three main characters; Scott (Tyler Posey), Sties (Dylan O'Brien) and Allison (Crystal Reed), are coping after their sacrifices. In the creepy teaser trailer we see an up close of Stiles , he is talking backwards saying "Wake up, Stiles. It's just a dream," which the phrase also lends itself to the background music and girl's voice in the background. The clip then switches to someone behind a white screen attempting to escape.
The clip gets even weirder when a hand, who may be Stiles, grabs for a doorknob but immediately lets go, perhaps in fear. The next part of the clip shows Stiles in his classroom and you hear the same phrase from earlier while the entire class does sign-language and stares at Stiles. The first half of Season three was marketed under the tagline "This might hurt," and in the wake of Stiles, Allison, and Scott undergoing a triple suicide mission to save their parents when the show signed off in August, it looks like the theme for the second half of the season will be "Lose your mind."
Sounds like a lot right? Well luckily the clip doesn't give too much away although it is intense. Season three is set to deal with Allison, Scott and Stiles all struggling with the darkness that is in their hearts as a result of the sacrifice they made in season two to save their parents. If that wasn't enough "Teen Wolf" for you MTV is planning to release two more clips of Allison and Scott tomorrow during tomorrows all-new episode of "Awkward." "Teen Wolf" is set to return on January 6 for a mid-season premiere.
