A 19-year-old waitress at a Mexican restaurant in Anaheim, California was only trying to be a hero, but what happened next was completely unexpected. The teenage girl was doing her job at the establishment called "México Lindo" when a man and three woman fled without paying their bill. The waitress ran after them and caught up to them in the parking lot to confront them for dining and dashing. It was then when the customers in a black Volkswagen ran over the girl's leg. Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed the girl to UCI Medical Center for treatment of abrasions and contusions from the incident, CBS 2 Los Angeles reported.
Luckily the girl did not suffer from any broken bones. Sheriff's deputies found the car at a Motel 6 nearby and during the investigation it was concluded that it was the same vehicle involved in the incident earlier. Rowshaid Pellum, 24, of Cerritos, Markeisha Williams, 18, of Long Beach, Shyteice Miles, 19, of Long Beach and Santeea Ralph, 23, of Long Beach were the suspects detained and taken into custody. All are booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy and defrauding an innkeeper. The four suspects are scheduled to appear in an Orange County court on Tuesday and being held on a $25,000 bail. Wow! They should've just paid the bill!
