Taylor Swift Secures Education Of Girl With Mom Suffering From Kidney Disease

Taylor Swift just made a struggling fan’s dream of furthering her education come true. The fan, who is already at wit’s end, wondering if she can still study because of financial troubles, got the surprise of her life when the singer paid off her tuition, which left her speechless and emotional.

Ayesha, a Swifty, posted on Tumblr that her parents only earn minimum wages and her massive college tuition next semester makes it impossible for her to study further. Moreover, because her mother is also suffering from kidney disease, their financial situation is further aggravated. She also lamented the fact that her family is trying to take out a loan only for her to pursue her studies.

Unknown to her, Swift actually heard or read about her troubles and quickly decided to do something. The “You Need to Calm Down” singer transferred $6,386.47 CAD (£3,900) to Ayesha’s bank account and also emailed her to say “Ayesha, get your learn on girl. I love you! Taylor.”

Naturally, the fan was dumbfounded but once recovered, she shared a screenshot of her good fortune to the world. According to Ayesha, she certainly could not stop crying because of this sudden blessing. “I posted about struggling with paying for tuition. Two hours later, I get this in my email,” she wrote on Instagram with the screenshot. “I have no words and I can’t stop crying. I don’t have words I don’t have words I don’t have words I can’t stop crying,” she added.

She also shared how happy she is through her Tumblr, stating that the singer took that stress that her family was feeling because of this generous donation. Ayesha shared that she could not imagine how to ever repay the “Blank Space” singer’s love and kindness. “‘My mother suffers with chronic kidney disease stage 3 and that’s always something we’re worried about. Stress aggravates her condition and not having funds is stressful,’ she wrote. She added that the donation made her parents laugh and cry in a way she’d never seen in the past.

This is not the first time Swift showed her generous side. In fact, she’s known for her random acts of kindness to her fans in the past. Back in 2015, Swift also sent nearly $2000 to a fan to cover a student debt.

The lucky fan, Rebekah Bortniker had made a video mashup of Swift having fun with her friends early on, as reported by HuffPost. Swift noticed the sweet gesture and asked a bodyguard to the girl’s home with multiple gifts, including a note that said she’s $1989 closer to paying off her student loans. Naturally, the fan was shocked as well by the star’s generosity.
