Tattoos On Dismembered, Frozen Body Parts Found Scattered In Italy Help ID Porn Star Victim

A man was arrested in Italy on Tuesday, March 29, after evidence was found that he had killed a popular adult film actress and porn star and chopped her body up before disposing of it in a ditch in Italy.

Fifteen cut-up body parts of an unknown person were found thawing inside garbage bags in a ditch in Borno in Northern Italy. Reasonably well-preserved for dismembered remains, authorities were able to identify the victim based on the tattoos that were found on the body, according to the Daily Beast.

Adult actress Carol Maltesi, who is well-known under her stage name Charlotte Angie, was identified to be the one who was killed, based on her tattoos that matched those on the preserved body parts inside the garbage bags, ANSA reported.

Maltesi, who has not posted anything on social media since January, was presumed to have been on an exotic shoot somewhere in the world by her friends. A police investigation subsequently led the authorities to the person whom they believe killed her: 43-year-old banker Davide Fontana.

Fontana, who presented himself as a friend of the victim, had denied any connection to the disappearance of Maltesi. However, police found some inconsistencies in his story, and a search of his house showed a freezer that could store the body, as well as the same garbage bags used in the crime and DNA evidence.

“This man, friend, and neighbor of the victim presented himself to the Carabinieri to provide information about the missing woman, offering circumstances that immediately proved to be contradicted by the investigators,” prosecutor Lorena Ghibaudo said.

Interrogated by the police for his involvement in the crime, Fontana admitted that he had accidentally killed the victim during sex and that he had been impersonating her online for months to keep up the facade of her being alive.

Police asked Fontana as to where the other body parts have been put, but he has kept silent on that front, leading many to believe that he had discarded them by some other gruesome means.
