In an exclusive interview with Gabriel Torres, Vice President and General Manager for the Southeast Region for T-Mobile, he gave us more insight on both the "Jump" program and T-Mobile's Family Simple Choice Plan.

"Jump is an innovative upgrade program that we announced that basically enables our customer to upgrade whenever they want not when the carrier tells them to," says Torres.

Jump stands for Just Upgrade My Phone and costs $10 a month, which also covers the cost of insurance on your old phone. But how does it work exactly? Torres explains how it is similar to trade in program and what stipulations have to happen before customers can upgrade.

"It's basically a trade. The customer enrolls on Sunday (July 14) and then 6 months from now all they have to is turn in their device and as long as their device is in good working order," said Torres. "We will take the device basically wipe the balance of the equipment and customer will be able to upgrade like they were a new customer for whatever phone they want."

Sounds too good to be true, right? For just $10 a month you can upgrade to a new phone up to two times in one year where you would usually have to sign another two-year agreement and pay more money. Torres assures us that the deal is as clear as it can be and also shares that T-Mobile is attempting to become more transparent to customers and make deals and promotions as clear as possible.

"That's the thing there is no catch. We decided to be simple, to not hide anything. To be very straightforward with our customer. Everything is out front for the customer." Said Torres. "There is always something hidden when customer get deals. We are aiming to be transparent to our customers."

Torres also assured us that all phones are included in the "Jump" program saying:

"All phones are included in the program. If you have an iPhone now and want to switch to an Android you can do that or from an Android to a Windows. Customers can switch to whatever phone T-Mobile has in their portfolio."
