After Amanda Berry's disappearance, her mother appeared on "The Montel Williams Show" to talk to a psychic and search for some answers about her missing daughter.

The meeting between Louwanna Miller, Berry's mother, and psychic, Sylvia Browne, occurred about a year after Amanda disappeared in Cleveland. Browne, who has made a career of televised psychic readings, told Miller that her daughter was dead. On the 2004 episode of "The Montel Williams Show," Miller broke down in tears, seemingly believing every word the psychic told her.

Miller revealed to the Cleveland Plain Dealer that's he believed "98 percent" of what Browne had told her regarding her daughter's disappearance and life.

"She's not alive, honey," Browne told Miller on the show, according to the newspaper. "Your daughter's not the kind who wouldn't call."

In a miracle discovery, Berry was found alive on Monday after breaking free from her captor's home with the help of a neighbor. Berry had been held captive with two other missing women, Michelle Knight, Gina DeJesus and a young girl, suspected to be Berry's daughter. Tragically, Berry's mother died last year of heart failure.

Today, Brown faced backlash on social media for her incorrect prediction about Amanda Berry.
