Fergie and Josh Duhamel are the happy parents of a baby boy they have named, Axl Jack Duhamel. The baby was born healthy this morning at 7 pounds and 10 ounces, according to TMZ. The "Glamorous" hitmaker gave birth via a c-section at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles earlier today. The naming of the newborn was inspired by the Guns 'N Roses lead singer Axl Rose. You may remember that Fergie Ferg performed "Sweet Child O' Mine" with Slash at the 2011 Super Bowl halftime show.
Earlier in the week the new parents were getting prepared for the arrival of their son. Josh asked the following question on his Twitter account: "Curious how your pets reacted when you brought home your first newborn child. Any advice?" The couple invited "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan to help their pet cope with the immenent introduction of their baby. Fergie later wrote on her social network, "Josh Duhamel & I getting our doggie daughter ready for her new brother with Cesar Millan."
Congratulations to the happy couple's first child and the expanding Duhamel family! What do you think of the name that the actors gave their newborn?
