The exclusive "Super Smash Bros." 3DS XL console may be coming state side this September. A recently leaked ad by Walmart shows off not one but two Nintendo handheld consoles coming before the title arrives Oct. 3. According to Blu-ray's forum the ad says a blue and red version of the "Super Smash Bros." console will arrive in the U.S.. Sept. 19.
The Walmart flyer is from the Midwest/southern regions and says the device is priced at $199.96 reports IGN. The 3DS handheld sports the games logo along with a decal of several fighters from the "Smash Bros." franchise. It is unclear if the actual game is included with the hardware but we doubt it.
The leaked ad has shown up ahead of the titles release for 3DS this month. Nintendo will first distribute the title to Japan Sept. 13, then to North America and Europe Oct. 3 and Australia on Oct. 4. The Wii U version is slated for release "holiday 2014," but no official date has been revealed. Check out the ad below.
Meanwhile it was revealed a few weeks back that the red and black 3DS "Smash Bros." themed console would arrive in Europe on Oct. 3 with a digital copy of the game. It appears this Sept. 19 release doesn't have the same digital copy as the game isn't set to launch until October.
