The "Super Smash Bros. 4" release date for Nintendo 3DS is Oct. 3. As the date fast approaches, a steady flow of news and new details continue to surface.
Earlier on Tuesday, series director Masahiro Sakurai shared a new picture of Link that features an epic new costume based on his appearance in Skyward Sword. The new costume for Link also hints possibilities of a wider variety of costumes available for other characters in the game as well.
A total of 32 new characters have been confirmed for "Super Smash Bros. 4," not to mention the unknown roster of secret characters. As far as we know, the characters in Super Smash Bros. 4 include Bowser, Charizard, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Fox, Greninja, Ike, Kirby, King DeDeDe, Link, Little Mac, Lucario, Luigi, Mario, Marth, Megaman, Mii Gunner, Pac Man, Palutena, Peach, Pikmin Olimar, Pikachu, Pit, Samus, Sheik, Sonic, Rosalina and Luma, Toon Link, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Yoshi, and Zelda.
Critics are quick to speculate "Super Smash Bros. 4" could become the best fighting game of all time. Nintendo fans will get to enjoy a countless variety of incredible cross-franchise face-offs. Titles like "Marvel Vs. Capcom" and movies like "Alien Vs. Predator" have tied universes together before, but none can match the abstract dynamic that "Super Smash Bros. 4" has to offer.
"Super Smash Bros. 4" offers a mash-up of iconic heroes from Nintendo, Sega, Capcom, and Namco. In addition, in order to properly represent every single hero in "Super Smash Bros. 4," Nintendo has done a great job creating unique "final smashes" that truly define each character. For us, the spectacular final smashes are the most exciting features the latest Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS has to offer.
Here are all the "Super Smash Bros. 4" final smashes we know so far. Characters with final smash moves that have yet to be unveiled include Ike, Diddy Kong, King DeDeDe, Toon Link, and Princess Peach.
