Jenni Rivera was the focal point on Univision's "Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí." The tragic life of "La Diva de la Banda" was dramatized into a series that held audiences captive from the beginning. On Sunday night, the drama came to a close with the sad ending. The final episode started with Jenni celebrating that she was getting rid of Esteban from her life, she threw his star over the balcony of her two story home. Rivera was a woman that was passionate and just as she loved, she hated.
When Jenni found out that Chiquis was having an affair with her husband Esteban, when she saw the security home cameras, she distanced herself from her daughter and made the decision of excluding her from her will. Lupillo reached out to his sister and told her that she could count on him. Jenni was not going to let her divorce from Esteban bring her down and turned up her fierceness to show him that he did not matter to her anymore. Following Jenni and Lupillo's reconciliation, Jenni surprised her brother by making peace with him and showing up at one of his concerts to perform together.
Jenni continued to score milestones during her last weeks of life. The star was honored with another music award. In México she met a handsome man and allowed herself to be open to love again. Back in Los Angeles, she met up with Ferny, and showed us that he was truly the love of her life, but he knew that they wouldn't be able to make it through if they would've ever gotten together. Jenni and her team head to Monterrey in what would be her last performance. The series did not go in a nasty route and handled the plane accident with dignity. As Jenni remembers some of her life accomplishments, she looks outside the window and it turns bright.
"Su Nombre Era Dolores, La Jenn Que Yo Conocí" had an all-star cast that included Javier Díaz Dueñas ("Los Miserables"), María Rojo ("Hasta El Fin Del Mundo"), Luis Felipe Tovar ("Los Sánchez"), Tomás Goros ("El Señor de los Cielos"), Ruben Zamora ("Cumbia Ninja"), Alex Perea ("La Doble Vida de Estela Carrillo"), Enrique Arreola ("La Candidata"), Jana Raluy ("Antes Muerta Que Lichita"), Juan Soler ("Marido En Alquiler") and many more.
