'Stranger Things' Season 4 Filming Reportedly Done, Expected To Air Between February To May 2022

"Stranger Things" got renewed for a fourth season in September 2019, with the production starting in late 2020. And now, the news that fans have been waiting for is here.

Netflix Life, citing a tweet from @StrangerNews11, said the production has apparently concluded filming,

"It's been reported by several members of the Production Team, we are waiting for an official announcement from Netflix," the caption reads.

Even though the Twitter account is not verified, practically all of its updates on the Netflix series were correct.

Shawn Levy, one of the show's creators, gave Collider a few updates on the project earlier this month. "This is me trying not to blink. I have been, along with the brothers, we have been tag-teaming and directing it as recently as now. So not quite done filming. Imminently," he said.

"Stranger Things" Season 4 production was repeatedly postponed due to COVID-19 procedures. The show was supposed to premiere in Lithuania in January 2020. However, it was abruptly canceled in March of that year.

Philsports News said the production began in Lithuania in March 2020 and moved to Georgia after a month of filming. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Deviscourse said the production was once again halted. The good news is that filming resumed in March 2021. "Stranger Things Season 4" has officially ended filming in New Mexico and Georgia as of September 2021, according to the latest claims.

The release date for "Stranger Things" Season 4 is set on 2022. Netflix made the announcement in a 30-second commercial that ran during the Olympics. Finn Wolfhard (Mike) also clarified earlier this month that filming had been postponed and that the film may not be released until 2022.

Fans claimed this season will, without a doubt, be one of the top Netflix series of 2022. They added that the official "Stranger Things" Season 4 release date is also expected to be unveiled at TUDUM.

If "Stranger Things" Season 4 is indeed done filming, fans may expect it to be released anytime between February and the end of May 2022.
