“Stranger Things” season 4 is now available on Netflix and most know that the sci-fi series is set to end after its fifth season comes out. There is no telling what may happen although executive producer Shawn Levy shared one wish he would like to happen.

That wish is to possibly see Ryan Reynolds appear on “Stranger Things” at some point, The Hollywood Reporter reported. Given that time is not on their side, it may be fair to expect that this could happen in the fifth season.

"I want to see a Ryan Reynolds cameo in anything. The truth is, my career over the past half-decade has been defined by Stranger Things and my collaborations with Ryan, so it would be deeply trippy but satisfying to see my two worlds collide," he said. "So, Ryan Reynolds, get ready for season five."

There is reason to be upbeat about potentially seeing Reynolds in the fifth season. He and Levy have worked in the past, particularly on “Free Guy,” a film that the 53-year-old produced and directed.

As mentioned in a previous report, it would be best to check out what the fourth season of “Stranger Things” will have. No less than Levy himself said that the second volume of season 4 will build up to that in the eventual finale.

"I'll just tell you that we are hard at work on Volume II," he quipped. "There's so much being written as far as the runtimes of these episodes, and the hefty runtime of episode nine, in particular. Having seen both those finale episodes, they are as emotional as they are cinematic. Holy shit, they are definitely a treat for the eyes, but they punch you right in the heart. So, that's what I'll say about that."

There is a lot to expect for “Stranger Things” season 5. Among those being suggested is the return of Eddie Munson.

Known as the leader of the Hellfire Club, introduced in the first half of season four, Munson has become a fan favorite.
