"South Park" returns for Episode 6 of Season 17 with a new episode titled "Black Friday," to be aired on Wednesday, November 13 at 10pm on Comedy Central. In Wednesday's episode, anticipation is building for the biggest shopping day of the year, and naturally Cartman's got something up his sleeve. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to check out a preview clip of Cartman as he calls the boys together to discuss this mysterious day before it airs.

According to a press release put out by South Park Studios, the episode will go something like this: "The dark days of winter are coming and that can only mean one thing: the fight to be the first in the mall on Black Friday has begun. The boys prepare to battle the crowds the day after Thanksgiving to get the best deal on the new gaming systems. Meanwhile Randy gets a job working as a mall security guard to help control the insane number of people lining up to take advantage of the official first day of holiday shopping."

The show is back in action after an unprecedented setback occurred last month, when the studio suffered a blackout which set creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker back several hours on the production of "Goth Kids", Episode 4 of the seventeenth season. That blackout ultimately caused them to miss their deadline -- the duo are notorious for writing and creating each episode in the week before it's set to air, a process which for most animated shows takes months. So for the first time in 17 seasons, when Comedy Central came calling for the two to hand in their final product, they had nothing to give them, and the network aired an old episode instead.

Last week's episode, "Ginger Cow", saw Eric Cartman attempting to exploit religious prophecy in announcing that he had found a "ginger cow", whose coat he had in reality simply dyed red. Rabbis fly from Israel to stake their claim over the cow, but find that Christian and Muslim leaders, who also see the red heifer as a presage of Armageddon had arrived before them. After initially squabbling over it, the three sides agree to sacrifice it in Jerusalem together before that fragile peace disintegrates amidst the revelation that the red heifer had appeared miraculously and was not dyed, as prophesied, by "a child with a small penis." This week's episode promises to be similarly ridiculous. Watch the full episode when it airs on November 6 at 10pm EST/ 9pm Central on Wednesday, November 13th on Comedy Central.
