Theo Rossi as Juice on SOA. facebook.com/sonsofanarchy

'Sons of Anarchy' is in the midst of an explosive season. Literally things keep blowing up all around Jax and SAMCRO. The club has just recently had to deal with their clubhouse going up in flames at the hands of the Irish. One character that has had an emotional journey these last few season is 'Juice." Actor Theo Rossi who plays "Juice" on SOA recently did an interview with TV Line talking about the changes his character has been going through.

"What's so brilliant about our show is that nothing is ever unresolved; we always delay something...and then all of a sudden we lay something else down. The beginning of the season, where Juice had to kill the girl with the pillow - or where he killed the girl, whether he had to or not - was the beginning of a different time for Juice. And what you start to see in this week's episode is him trying to figure out how he's going to fit into this [club]. Does he have to become this violent, animalistic-type character?" Rossi said to TV Line.

Last season we saw Juice shift from the loveable biker with a good heart to a terrified and lost boy who almost turned rat on his club. When a new federal agent showed up last season to try and take down SAMCRO he used a secret from Juice's past to try and turn the "Man of Mayhem." Juice was so torn about what the federal agent was trying to get him to do that he attempted to take his own life. From the moment the tree branch broke Juice character began to change.

Juice is one character that people have been asking "how is he still alive?" Jax found out about Juice's activity with the feds and it was hard to imagine Jax not killing Juice. But rather than kill him Jax put Juice to use in setting Clay up for a murder he did not commit. The only other person that knew about Juice's relationship with the feds was Chibs. Not too keen on the fact that one of the SOA members he was closest to was ratting to the feds Chibs welcomed Juice back the only way he knew how.

Once Chibs was through beating the hell out of Juice their relationship was renewed. But Juice is continuing to change before viewers' eyes. In last week's episode the normally level headed Juice beat up a cop, stole the officer's bike and may or may not have killed a few cops when he forced their truck off the road. Sure the cops were dirty but this is not the Juice we are used to seeing. Rossi told TV Line that Juice is thinking:

"This makes me feel good in the moment, this violence.' And at the same time, how much of it is that he's snapped? I believe in my mind, and I believe that it was shown in a brief moment on that couch in the second episode, that Juice has gone to a different place. I don't think he's the same guy anymore. There are moments of him... Somebody saw a preview of the chase scene from tonight's episode and said how nice it was to see Juice laugh again. And it's funny because it's true."

So SOA fans do you like the direction Juice is going this season? Do you think he will ever be the lovable comic relief guy from seasons past? The next episode of "Sons of Anarchy" will air Tuesday night at 10 EDT on FX.
