Last week, Snooki posted an eBay ad to sell her 2011 Cadillac Escalade EXT. The ad was as follows:
This 2011 Cadillac Escalade is currently owned by Nicole Snooki Polizzi. It is the actual car that she has driven in many of her television appearances. The vehicle has been completely wrapped and has been customized with many add ons to her taste and specifications, such as custom wheels and ambient lighting. It has been autographed across the hood by Nicole. This is not a vehicle that you can buy everyday, it is an opportunity to own a piece of pop culture history!
The rapper's whip of choice, the 2011 model Escalade only indicated 6K on the odometer and was listed at a rather modest starting bid of $40,000. Naturally, MTV's "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is anything but modest.
Modifications on Snooki's truck are all aesthetic. From afar, the pink trim over matte black seems rather understated for Snooki. Pink accents include the massive front grille, the smaller side vents, side mirror, roof rack, window trim, step plate, and wheels. However, a closer look reveals that the matte black is more than mets the initial glance -- the car is completely wrapped with hideous lizard skin. Transforming her Cadillac Escalade into an enormous black handbag on wheels, the Escalade is finished with a cute "Hello Kitty" sticker found on the back window. Finally, Snooki also ripped off the original "Escalade" emblem from the tailgate to slap on a more suitable "Boss Lady" badge. Inside? Leopard print floor mats, naturally.
While critics and fans can argue whether the truck is hot or hideous until their faces turn blue, there is no denying that Snooki and her Escalade know how to make a statement. That alone is enough for Snooki's truck to earn a final bid of $77,510. The winner also received an autograph from Snooki right on the Escalade's hood.
